Yoga Bears Kids Yoga runs weekly kids yoga incursions for childcare centres, kindys and early learning services across Rockhampton, from Norman Gardens and Frenchville to Allenstown, Gracemere and out to the Capricorn Coast. A trained Yoga Bears teacher visits your centre and leads playful yoga for children from 6 months to 6 years.

Childcare Yoga Across Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast

Sitting right on the Tropic of Capricorn, Rockhampton summers are long and hot. Centres use Yoga Bears for an active indoor session that burns off energy and then settles the room. Our teachers travel to you and work around your rest times and daily rhythm.

What Happens in a Session

Children move through animal poses, yoga stories, songs and movement games, then practise simple breathing and finish with a short relaxation. Programs are matched to age, from Baby Bears (6 months to 1 year) through to Mighty Bears (5 to 6 years).
