Kids Yoga Port Macquarie: Yoga Incursions for Childcare Centres

Yoga Bears Kids Yoga runs weekly kids yoga incursions for childcare centres, preschools and early learning services across Port Macquarie and the Hastings, from the town centre and Lighthouse Beach to Thrumster, Lake Cathie and Wauchope. A trained Yoga Bears teacher visits your centre and leads playful yoga for children from 6 months to 6 years.

Your educators have nothing to plan or set up. We bring the whole session.

Childcare Yoga Across Port Macquarie Hastings

Port Macquarie centres use Yoga Bears to add a regular session of movement and mindfulness to their program. Our teachers come to you and fit around your rooms, rest times and daily rhythm.

What Happens in a Session

Children move through animal poses, yoga stories, songs and movement games, then practise simple breathing and finish with a short relaxation. Programs are matched to age, from Baby Bears (6 months to 1 year) through to Mighty Bears (5 to 6 years), so older children build the focus and self regulation that help with the move to school.
